Our take on this /// Verdict
The Ninja 125 is eye-catching, attractive, sporty and instantly identifiable as being part of the Ninja family. Performance is on-par with the competition and the sporty handling is a breath of fresh air. It's easy-to-manage, predictable, controlled and the in right environment fun. Kawasaki have re-entered the sporty 125 market by kicking the doors down. The established competition should be worried. It’s just a shame the rather dull dated clocks blemish what is an excellent A1 bike.
Price
2023 Kawasaki Ninja 125 price is expected to be around Rs 1.70 lakh in India (ex-showroom). Available in these color options Lime Green (KRT Edition), White/Black, All-Black.

Kawasaki Ninja 125 Review
10 Nov, 2022 09:53 AM
Quick Review by Maxabout Team
Kawasaki lined up two new 125cc bikes for the Intermot 2018 event. The event was held in Germany in September 2018. The company launched both bikes first in the European markets. With both those bikes, the company wanted to strengthen its presence in the low-displacement segment. Both of these new bikes, the Ninja 125 and Z125, were designed with inspiration from high displacement bikes. The green-black livery has been given to the Ninja 125, which is also given to the company's popular Ninja ZX-10RR race bike. The length of this bike is 1935 mm, the width is 685 mm, and the height is 1075 mm. It has a sporty and lean-forward riding posture.
The bike has a tubular trellis frame with a box-type swingarm, which helps in keeping the weight of this bike light. Apart from this, disc brakes and dual-channel ABS have been given in the new Kawasaki Ninja 125. Along with this, a fully digital instrument console has also been installed. Kawasaki Motorcycle President, Kazuo Ota, mentioned that the Kawasaki styling, engineering, and excellence drive quality features in this 125cc model can only be offered by the Japanese manufacturer.
Currently, the smallest offering from Kawasaki in India is the Z250 naked motorcycle, while the smallest fire motorcycle in India is the new Kawasaki Ninja 300. The premium 125cc segment is not that popular in India, hence the manufacturer is preoccupied with introducing premium 125cc motorcycles in the country. Both the motorcycles will be perfect choices for a sporty and powerful entry-level machine for the beginner rider. This will be an interesting product for the Indian market as no other manufacturers have yet opened their cards for such a sporty 125cc motorcycle.

Plenty of features to make a comfortable and enjoyable ride
Sucheta Kundu | One year ago

The Ninja is a great bike for those of us with bigger frames, but it's not just about that. The comfortable seat, the well-designed tank, the slightly raised bars, and the sculpted seat all combine to create a riding experience that is comfortable and enjoyable. The adjustable front levers give you the ability to customize the bike to your own preferences, and even with my 6 foot 4 frame I had no problems with the legroom.
The Ninja is also incredibly responsive, with the rear brake lever feeling natural and well thought out. The clutch and brake levers were also very easy to operate and the position of them was comfortable.
The Z125 is a great option for those who are taller than 6 foot 1. It's perfect for city riding and the low seat height gives plenty of leg room. It's also comfortable to ride and it's very responsive.
Overall, the Kawasaki Ninja125 is a great bike, with plenty of features to make them comfortable and enjoyable to ride. Whether you're tall or short, the Ninja 125 has something to offer.

The power delivery was smooth and progressive
Barun Kumar | One year ago

The Kawasaki Ninja 125 has an impressive power delivery, especially from a standstill. The light clutch lever makes it much easier to manage, and the gears shift into place easily. Despite changing gears often, I never felt fatigued, and I was even able to get a few clutchless upshifts. At higher speeds and revs, there was a noticeable buzz in the mirrors, but it wasn't uncomfortable or overly intrusive. All in all, the power delivery was smooth and progressive, allowing for a comfortable ride even after a long day.

An impressive figure considering the power and performance of the bike
Sana Ifran Khan | One year ago

The ARAI certified mileage of the Kawasaki Ninja 125 is 48 kmpl. This is an impressive figure considering the power and performance of the bike. It is also an admirable figure for a bike with such a small capacity engine. The user reported mileage of the Ninja 125 is not available, however, the reviews from Ninja 125 owners suggest that it is quite fuel-efficient. The Ninja 125 is a great option for those who are looking for a powerful bike that is also fuel-efficient. The Kawasaki Ninja 125 comes with a front brake type of disc and a front brake size of 290 mm. It also has a rear brake type of disc, with a rear brake size of 220 mm. The calliper type is a radial caliper and a floating caliper, giving the bike superior braking power. The front tyre size is 100/80 x 17, and the rear tyre size is 130/70 x 17, both of which are tubeless. The bike also has radial tyres, giving it better grip and control. The wheels are alloy, with a front wheel size of 17 inch, and a rear wheel size of 17 inch. The front suspension is a 37 mm telescopic forks, and the rear suspension is a mono-shock, giving the bike better handling.

Fuel tank capacity, not enough to get you to your destination and back with some to spare
Chandan Kumar Singh | One year ago

The Kawasaki Ninja 125 comes with an 11-litre fuel tank capacity, which is enough to get you to your destination and back with some to spare. The fuel efficiency range is also quite good, with an ARAI-measured mileage of 48 kmpl and an even better top speed of 120 km/h. The acceleration is also quite good, with 0-60 kmph in just 6 seconds and 0-100 kmph in 10 seconds.

The Kawasaki Ninja 125 is a bike that can switc
Kanishk Goyal | One year ago

The Kawasaki Ninja 125 is a bike that can switch between two identities with ease. On one hand, it can be used as a reliable everyday commuter, offering dependable and consistent performance. On the other hand, when ridden aggressively, the Ninja can truly come alive and transform into a beast. Unfortunately, I am not yet skilled enough to take full advantage of the Ninja's full potential, but I can definitely attest to its reliability as a commuter. The Ninja 125 is not meant to be someone's first bike, as it is better suited to those with more experience and a bigger budget. But for those who are willing to take the plunge, the Ninja 125 can be a thrilling and rewarding experience.

The lack of features on the Kawasaki Ninja125 is a definite downside. Not only is the dash a basic LCD, with no colour or added features, but it also lacks the Bluetooth integration of the KTM TFT dash, or the Aprilia screen. There's also no slipper clutch, quickshifter, or keyless ignition - features that are found on the YZF R125, Aprilia RS125, and Suzuki GSX-R125 respectively. It's a shame that Kawasaki has left these features off their bikes, as it would improve their appeal greatly.

Despite their light weight, the Kawasaki Ninja125 offers a surprisingly comfortable ride. The light weight makes it incredibly agile, allowing it to slice through traffic with ease. Their suspension is good enough for general bumps and road aggro, making it handle most of the daily bumps and grinds with composure.

The ABS system works very well, providing good feedback and strong braking power under normal riding conditions. The brakes are nicely balanced with the fork damping and front tyre grip, making it easy to modulate your braking power. The brakes are also very capable in emergency braking situations, with the ABS activating just in time to maintain control. Overall, the brakes on the Ninja 125 do an excellent job in providing a secure and reliable stopping power.

Despite the budget damping, the Kawasaki Ninja 125 is surprisingly capable of handling twisty mountain roads. The Dunlop TT900 tyres provide a good grip on most road surfaces, although they may struggle in wet conditions or on roads with a lot of bumps and potholes. The bike is also stable and responsive, even when cornering at moderate knee-down angles. For those wanting more control and performance, an upgrade in suspension would be beneficial.

The Ninja 125 is a great bike for both everyday commuters and those looking for an adrenaline-filled experience. The bike's power and performance make it a great option for those looking for something more aggressive than the typical commuter bike. Despite its size and power, the Ninja 125 is surprisingly easy to handle and maneuver, making it a great option for those who are still new to riding. With its impressive fuel economy, the Ninja 125 is a great choice for those looking for an affordable and reliable ride.

The Kawasaki Ninja 125 is an incredibly capable machine, offering plenty of confidence and stability regardless of the road surface. Its suspension provides ample feedback and is compliant enough to soak up rough terrain without feeling too stiff. Its Dunlop tires provide excellent grip and stability, ensuring a smooth and secure ride at all speeds. The 17” rims combined with the 100/80 front and 130/70 rear tires provide plenty of stability and have no problem holding their line in the corners. The combination of the Ninja's light weight and nimble handling makes it easy to control and easy to enjoy. Even the most experienced riders will find the Ninja to be an absolute pleasure to ride.
