She revealed where she has been posting her regular videos

POPULAR YouTuber Jenny Nicholson has returned to the platform one year after her last video, urging fans to stop spreading rumors about her whereabouts.
For over a decade, Nicholson has shared regular video essays on YouTube related to Star Wars, Disney, Marvel, other popular film series, and more.
Up until Sunday, her last video shared on YouTube was posted on November 5, 2022.

The video had amassed over 9.5 million views and was a review of the since-closed Evermore theme park in Pleasant Grove, Utah.
Her absence from the platform left many fans wondering where she had gone and if she had stopped creating content altogether.
However, she made a triumphant return to YouTube on Sunday, with a video that has already generated over 500,000 views.

The 4 hour long video is a scathing review of The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel that was at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
The hotel closed in September 2023.
She addressed her absence in a comment under the video saying she is still creating and uploading content on YouTube, however the videos are larger than were before.
“I try to make them the best I can, which means they can take a while,” Nicholson wrote.

She explained that for those wanting less formal and more frequent videos, she uploads monthly on her Patreon platform.
The platform is based on a membership-based model, with Nicholson offering annual memberships as low as $1 per month.

Nicholson’s memberships go as high as $25 per month, offering different features such as the ability to submit video topic suggestions, video previews, exclusive monthly videos, and credit.
“That’s a backlog of 80+ videos at the moment, and all tiers get access to all of them,” she wrote.
Nicholson has previously criticized YouTube over monetization issues.
"I'm p sure the limited monetization is up to the discretion of the claimant; I've had previous claims where the video is fully monetized, it just goes into escrow for 30 days until the money is released (tbh inevitably to me, because I've never actually violated copyright)," she wrote in a 2022 Tweet.
At the time, she indicated that similar issues was why creators were using Patreon.
On Sunday, Nicholson said that she is aware joining the membership might not make sense for some of her viewers.
To that, she said “no problem.”
“I’m so lucky to already have the amount of support I do over there,” the YouTuber said.
“But it’s an option that’s available to you if you find the waits between public videos difficult.
“I get new patrons all the time saying they wish they’d known about it sooner, so this is me letting everyone know! So there! & please stop telling everyone I'm dead.”
Thousands of YouTube users have flooded Nicholson’s comment section with many saying they are already supporting her on Patreon.
“can vouch that the patreon is 100% worth it. i think there's a tier for a low as 2$ a month for all the videos,” one viewer said.

However, several revealed they were completely unaware of her presence on another platform.
“Love your content Jenny. Count me among those who didn't know and likely to join the patreon immediately,” one YouTuber wrote.
“I didn't know you were actively uploading somewhere else. Thank for posting that,” another said.
A third chimed in saying, “Yeah you should have advertised it more - I thought you just quit YouTube!”

Nicholson has more than 1,090,000 subscribers on the platform as well as 93,000 followers on TikTok and 84,000 on Instagram.
She currently has 358 posts on her Patreon, which has 34,209 members.
