It's not translucent. Just lighting in the photo makes it look like that. It's opaque red ABS.

We should be shipping in a few weeks (deliberately vague). I dont want to give dates yet just in case of unforeseen delays. We are working on the product page now.

The SSD kit is has CNC machined Aluminum/Steel/Titanium parts inside. Not a mostly plastic kit like the large manufacturers. So you are not being realistic at all.

We get it, just drooling over here trying to squeeze anything we can from ya, but we understand why you can only say so much.

Would been nice with adjustable width, like on the Ascender axles. Scx width is just a little to much for many of the hardbodies out there.

Anybody see Harley designs SNU today? He mentioned the SSD kit bout half way thru. Said theres no 'for sure' price update yet, but its 'lookin' to b in the $450 range. Looks like i may have to sell a truck or two lol. Cant wait for more pics

I generally use button head screws for everything but with the transmission using M2.5 screws, going cap heads there means most of the truck can be built with only a 2 mm driver.

I really think $450 usd might be a little on the high side, for the kit to really sell well. But I suppose we have to wait for the final specs before juding.
