Great for scenery, but not for the game

Even when sitting in the front rows of the Top Deck sections, the views still feel noticeably high and far. I was in Row B which was the second row from the front of Top Deck Section 13, and the views of the field were very aerial when looking so far down to the playing surface. A guard railing at the front of our section started to cross into my line of sight just beyond third base, and muddled my view leading down the left field line. I was glad I wasn't in the front row of the section (Row A), as the railing was probably far worse of an issue from there.But the one thing I really enjoy about sitting on the Top Deck is the views of the landscapes and mountains in the background of Dodger Stadium. There's no better place to be to check out the surrounding scenery than the concourses and seats of the Top Deck.
Top Deck
-The Top Deck is the very highest seating option on the Dodger Stadium seating chart. While located behind home plate, this area is still home to some of the furthest views. Fans looking for cheap tickets to a Dodger game will find some of the most affordable options on the the Top Deck due to the high views and steep seating aisles. Additionally, sitting here offers the least protection from the southern California sun. The only chance at finding some shade on a sunny day in this area is in the last two rows where fans will keep their fingers crossed that the small roof above will provide some relief.Standing Room OnlyFor the biggest games, tickets will be sold for standing room only. Fans with these tickets will not have a reserved seat, but will have admission to the stadium and level. Views to the field will be first come first serve.

(Top Deck 5) - ★ -I think I stayed in my seat for a grand total of 60 seconds. Long enough to learn that in order to see anything with a clear view (and not from behind a wire grated fence), I had to lean far forward to avoid having the safety railing completely ruining my view.
