Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. aturday May 5, 2018 at Shrader Funeral Home, 204 North Locust Street, Arcola, with Jeff Wo head as officiant.

Burial will follow in the Arcola Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service. Dorothy was born April 7, 1931 in Champaign the daughter of Dan and Alta Younger Walls. She married Bobby Bright in Arcola on January 27, 1951; he preceded her in death on April 4, 2018. She is survived by 3 children, Janis (William) Navigato of Savoy; Steve (Vicky) Bright of Arcola; Pam (Jeff) Wohead of Bastrop, Texas; grandchildren, Gregory Wohead, Patrick (Anglea) Bright, Stacy (Ben) Bartle, Ryan (Crystal) Navigato, Bradlee Navigato; great grandsons, Keaton Mowery, Bridger Bartle, and Gavin Bright; sisters, Mary Ballenberger, Helen Logan, and Genevieve Green.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Robert Walls. Dorothy was a graduate of Arcola High School Class of 1949. She was a member of the Arcola United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family, playing games and cards, especially bridge. She was a wonderful cook and avid reader.

com Miller MOUNT ZION Norma Jean Miller 88, of Mt. Zion, IL passed away at 5:45 a.m., ednesday, May 2, 2018, in her residence. A memorial service to celebrate life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018, at the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church with Pastor Mike Wakeland officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Norma was born April 29, 1930, in Maroa Township, Macon County, IL, the daughter of James A. and Oleta (Lane) Hays.

She married William Henry Miller on December 8, 1951. He preceded her in death on January 24, 2001. Norma retired in 1991, from AE Staley Co. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church, Staley Retirees Club, and enjoyed volunteering at the Salvation Army.

She enjoyed quilting, knitting, and her special cat: Neil. Surviving are her children: Danny Miller (Annalee) of Chicago, IL, Rick Miller (Robin) of St. Louis, MO, Julie Hosier (Gary) of Decatur, and J.D. Miller and his wife Sherri of Mt. Zion; brother: Earl Hays of Taylorville, IL; grandchildren: Evan Miller (Payal) of St.

Louis, MO, Ethan Miller of St. Louis, MO, Cory Hosier (Marisa) of Decatur, Jordan Miller of Springfield, IL, Gage Miller of Mt. Zion, and Garrett Miller of Chicago, IL; great-grandsons: Randall Nein, Carter Nein, Elliott Miller, and Edison Miller. Also surviving are many dear friends. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother: Jim, and her sister: Patsy.

Fuller DECATUR Glenn Owen Fuller passed away on April 29, 2018, at the age of 87, with his wife Aileen and son Bryan at his side. Born in Joliet, Glenn is a veteran having served in the US Air Force. He was honorably discharged in 1961. He attended Illinois State University for his undergraduate studies then graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in law. He worked briefly in the Macon County office before transitioning to private practice as a criminal defense attorney.

He practiced law in Decatur for more than 50 years. Glenn was an avid runner and exercise enthusiast. He strived to eat healthy foods and enjoy life to the fullest. One of his favorite things to do was to help Aileen maintain their vibrant garden. Glenn was also known for his beautiful voice which he used for leading family in many Happy Birthday songs.

His home and the love of his neighbors was the highlight of his life. He was preceded in death by his father Hiram, and his mother Doris. As a young man he enjoyed many weekends at The Shack, his land near the Kankakee River. His father taught him how to drive using a modified tractor which they called the Doodle Bug. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 49 years Aileen, son Bryan W.

(Joe) Mooney, niece; Abby (Jeff) Chirico, nephew; Joseph Hickle, cousins; William (Elaine) Tracy of Monticello, Timothy (Molly) Tracy of Bement, and their families. He was preceded in death by his mother. Jim graduated from Bement High School and attended Parkland College and Southern Illinois University.

He farmed in Piatt County, and was a member of the St. Catholic Church, Bement, the Ivesdale Knights of Columbus and the Bement Club, where he was past President and active in the Christmas food drive. Jim was a devoted son, a loving brother, uncle and cousin, and a very loyal friend. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. She married Glen E. Henson on July 29, 1960 and he preceded her in death. Donna worked for General Electric for 20 years, Seasonall for 6 years, and Inventive Products for 10 years. She enjoyed sewing, crafts with woods, electronic hand-held games, and crossword puzzles. Donna was an Illini and Cubs fan.

Donna is survived by her two sons; Randy E. Henson of Oakley, IL and John D. Henson of Mt. Zion, IL. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren; Brooke Bartholomew of Ft.
